Key Features

Ease of Use

Initiate network device erasure with one touch. Simply connect the integrated cables to the device’s ports and press “Go.” If extra input is needed, clear on-screen prompts guide the process, reducing errors and setup time.

Secure Standards Compliance

Nemesis supports leading global frameworks: NIST SP 800-88 Network Erasure (Clear, Purge, Destroy), ADISA Certified Network Erasure (Product Assurance), GDPR, CCPA and other international privacy laws. This ensures every job is compliant, fully auditable, and recognised by industry regulators.

Advanced Data Sanitisation

Our unique Vendor-Independent Purge goes beyond wipe-only solutions, providing robust data sanitisation software processes that completely remove sensitive information.

Flexible Licensing

Adaptable pricing models fit operations of any size, from small ITAD workshops to large multi-location enterprises needing enterprise data eraser solutions.

Cloud-Based Portal

All activity is logged into the secure Ultratest Portal. Access certificates of erasure, device-level histories, and trend reports, ensuring compliance and customer trust.

Audit Trail & Reporting For Devices

Every device wiped creates a detailed report and certificate, providing an independent record of compliance and information sanitisation.

Licence & OS Retention

Nemesis can preserve and reinstall licences and operating systems automatically. This maximises device value and prevents accidental loss of usability, an essential feature for IT equipment refurbishment services.

Simple Deployment, High Efficiency

Supports a wide range of networking products from major vendors.

How it Works for You

Available as a desktop or rack-mounted system, easy to deploy in multi-site operations.

Ultratest Nemesis is the industry’s leading automated platform for the secure erasure and refurbishment of networking equipment — including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Designed for ITADs, brokers, and enterprise decommissioning teams, Nemesis combines powerful automation with certified data sanitisation to maximise the yield and resale value of networking assets.

1. Device Identification

Once a device is connected to Nemesis, it automatically detects key information including the make, model, serial number, and configuration. This ensures that each device is processed according to the correct routine — without guesswork or manual intervention.

Arrow Icon

2. License & Configuration Backup

For supported devices, Nemesis securely backs up the operating system (OS) and any licences or feature keys. This unique process helps preserve the asset’s value by ensuring that valid licences can be reapplied after the erasure process.

Arrow Icon

3. Factory Reset & Security Erase

The system then executes the appropriate erasure method, fully compliant with NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 1 Clear and Purge standards and ADISA Product Assurance.
This goes far beyond a basic factory reset — Nemesis overwrites all user-configurable data, resets credentials, removes residual configuration files (such as VLANs), and securely clears flash memory where possible.

Arrow Icon

4. VIP Purge (Vendor Independent Purge)

When a device’s onboard wipe command is unavailable or incomplete, Nemesis automatically applies its proprietary overwrite routines. For devices with additional storage (e.g., Cisco ASA series with secondary flash), Nemesis ensures a complete wipe across all storage elements — even where standard tools fall short.

5. OS & Licence Restore

After erasure, the backed-up OS and any valid licences are restored to the device. This ensures that each unit is returned to a ‘known good’ working state, ready for immediate redeployment or resale — and delivering maximum resale value.

6. Full Audit Trail & Certificates

Every step in the process is logged in real time to the Ultratest Cloud Portal. You can easily generate data destruction certificates, download test logs, and demonstrate compliance for auditing purposes — an essential feature for ITADs and enterprise customers under GDPR, CCPA, or other privacy regulations.
