This certification is for the assessment of sanitisation software by the Product Assurance (PA) scheme offered by the ARC. This scheme is about the suitability of a data sanitisation product to comply with sanitisation standards/guidelines, for example, NIST Special Publication 800-88 Revision 1 and/or IEEE Std 2882-2022, by assessing that a product can issue specific commands to the storage media that are compliant with a particular standard.

This test validates that this product when used in accordance with the specification within claims test document ADPC0140 can be used to sanitise data against ADISA Test Level 2 on the sample of devices identified in the claim.
